Job DescriptionIDS is seeking a Mid‑Level Systems Integration Engineer to support enterprise computer systems and network operations. The engineer will manage and analyze system and network environments, translate user needs into technical solutions, support system migrations, and evaluate technologies to enhance agency standard solutions.
Key Duties• Manage enterprise computer systems and networks by analyzing technical issues and implementing corrective actions
• Monitor and interpret visual outputs indicating operational status of systems and network infrastructure
• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses and implement solutions to meet operational needs
• Develop and support migration strategies to transition customers to new architectures or technologies with minimal impact
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment for integration into agency standard solutions
• Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with three (3) years, or Associate’s degree with seven (7) years, or high school diploma/GED with nine (9) years of relevant experience
• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong experience with Linux systems
• Experience in systems administration, network administration, application administration, or IT support
• Experience supporting hardware installation such as servers or network infrastructure
• Experience configuring storage solutions such as network‑attached storage
• Experience implementing security best practices including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash, Bourne, or C
• Must possess an IAT‑I certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
• Relevant experience must include computer or information systems design or development, programming, information or cyber security, network security, vulnerability analysis, computer forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering
• Experience in network or system administration
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Salary range: $110,000 – $130,000
