This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Represents Company to internal and external customers by providing a world-class customer service experience
  • Includes but not limited to managing orders from placement, following order all the way through, returns, any other issues for the life of the order
  • Works with all levels of leadership and cross functional team to secure product needs for customers
  • Authority to access production systems for managing customer sales orders & suppliers through inventory systems
  • Responsibilities require internal coordination of contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing
  • Must be able to multitask under pressure
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Can handle different priorities through effective escalation
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for the customer
  • Must be a team player and willingness to put the customer first
  • Areas are limited to commercial and unclassified military.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with high visibility escalation paths
  • Experience with manufacturing or processing
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with supply chain and/or logistics
  • Previous customer service experience in aircraft or other manufacturing.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $61,800 - $94,700
