Oratomic is on a mission to build the world's first fault-tolerant quantum computer.
We are actively hiring mechanical and optomechanical engineers to take part in designing, building, and operating fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team across hardware (lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics), software, and whatever else is required to build the working quantum computer. This role will focus on the design, prototyping, and implementation of precision mechanical and optomechanical systems, as well as developing the CAD workflows and engineering documentation used across the team. You will work closely with scientists and engineers to take designs from initial concepts through fabrication, assembly, and testing in the lab. A strong background in mechanical or optomechanical design, CAD, and hands-on hardware development is desirable for this role. We are hiring at all experience levels.
Requirements:
Wants to build a quantum computer
Works well in a highly collaborative team environment
Compensation:
$200,000-$350,000/year depending on experience
Benefits (health and dental coverage, 401K, unlimited PTO, paid family leave, visa sponsorship)
