Our Mission
Position Summary
Our mission is to make robotics an irreversible reality. We are always interested in connecting with talented Mechanical Engineers who are passionate about building innovative robotic systems including humanoids..
Our team develops advanced robotics solutions across a variety of applications, including humanoid robots, mobile manipulation, logistics automation, retail automation, and intelligent machines. Depending on experience and interests, you may contribute to mechanical design, mechatronic integration, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and product development.
Our current focus is the next generation of articulated robots, including humanoids. We run an in-house “data foundry” that captures large-scale, real-world manipulation data to train our robot foundation models, so the hardware you design directly shapes what our models can learn. Over the coming year we are moving from prototypes to deploying next-generation humanoids in the field, and we are looking for hardware engineers to own that journey from bench to real-world fleet.
This is an open role intended for engineers at all experience levels, from early-career engineers to experienced technical leaders.
What you'll work on
Design and develop mechanical systems and components for robotic products.
Create CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, software, and product teams to develop integrated robotic systems.
Support actuator, transmission, sensor, and structural system design.
Build, test, and iterate prototypes to validate performance and reliability.
Conduct engineering analyses, including structural, thermal, kinematic, and tolerance studies.
Improve product reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost efficiency.
Support product transition from prototype to production.
Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to scale hardware development.
What We're Looking For
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
Experience developing electromechanical products or robotic systems.
Experience in designing moving mechanisms with gears, racks, LM guides, belts, and gearboxes.
Practical experience in 2D drawings for both sheet metal and machined parts.
Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, or equivalent.
Understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and product development.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
