Job DescriptionPosition Details:
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Designer
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53219
Duration: 5+ Months (Possible extension)
Responsibilities will include supporting the process and equipment development for the detector assemblies.
Tasks will include, but not limited to:
- CAD design, review, and fabrication of mechanical tooling for manual and robotic applications, and supporting the diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues.
- Work closely with an integrated engineering and operations team, using Six Sigma methodology to tackle the technical challenge
- BOM structuring and requirements assembly.
- Ability to conduct technical design reviews, update designs, drive team consensus, and solicit bids on mechanical designs.
- Storage of models and drawings in PDM system.
- 5+ years experience using 3D modeling software, preferably Creo/ProE. Creation of 2D views and drawings.
