Job Summary
- Seeking a Data Scientist with demonstrated experience designing and implementing advanced AI/ML and data science solutions across mission domains
- The successful candidate will support the MPO customer environment and develop sophisticated Agentic AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and customized machine learning solutions
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced AI/ML and data science solutions
- Develop Agentic AI systems and customized RAG capabilities
- Assess, evaluate, and implement appropriate ML models for specific mission needs
- Train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy machine learning and large language models
- Tailor AI/ML solutions for operational performance and resource constraints
- Develop models suitable for low-memory and low-resource edge-device environments
- Evaluate model performance and recommend improvements
- Work with mission stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Master’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 11 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 13 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing sophisticated AI/ML solutions
- Deep knowledge and experience with AI technologies
- Experience assessing, evaluating, training, and optimizing ML models
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience with Agentic AI systems
- Experience implementing RAG capabilities
- Experience optimizing models for constrained or edge-computing environments
- Expert Python proficiency

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
