Product Marketing Specialist

The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for communicating GumGum’s value in the creation, organization and maintenance of product marketing collateral; and contributes to a variety of marketing activities. This role owns sales enablement efforts that support our sales organization, product commercialization and other strategic priorities within our global marketing team. This role is responsible for understanding clients needs and communicating our value proposition to prospective and current clients and partners the development of marketing materials. This role is a key contributor to our product and industry training programs.
The Product Marketing Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Product, and Marketing teams, to drive commercial success by enabling GumGum’s field teams through content and resources generated from data-driven analysis and marketplace intelligence, customer-centric messaging, and creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities
- Marketing Materials for our sales organization
- Create and communicate a calendar of planned sales enablement content
- Project manage across client-facing and creative teams to ensure timely delivery
- Develop, maintain, and update sales enablement materials, from conceptualizing and outlining pieces, to copywriting, project managing design, and distributing final content to internal teams
- Collateral topics: Industry verticals, seasonal events, case studies and other trending content requests needed in the form of one-sheets, slides, interactive experience, etc.
- Assist in client and market focused research activities
- Assist the Product Marketing Managers in developing one-sheets, decks, FAQs, and more for product commercialization initiatives
- Develop and distribute monthly newsletters
- Support product marketing requests across multiple departments
- Product and Industry training programs
- Develop a deep understanding of GumGum’s customers, including buyer personas and users
- Collaborate with multiple departments to develop and maintain internal training materials and sales collateral
- Deliver product and industry training to client facing teams
- Support speaking engagement efforts— including speaker presentations, scripts and panel topic discussions
- Sales Enablement Platform Management
- Own and manage sales enablement platform, Highspot
- Train client facing teams, as needed, to utilize platform
- Monitor, report on, and optimize engagement levels with different types of content to enable sales teams
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in writing copy for and creating a broad set of content types for sales enablement and/or B2B demand generation in ad technology/media
- Experience within Sales and/or working closely with Sales Teams
- Must have strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Able to communicate concisely and clearly and have excellent listening and presentation skills
- Strong sense of design and excellent ability to set a vision and collaborate with designers to create compelling collateral
- Detailed and process driven with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving
- Able to partner and work collaboratively across geographies, functions and multiple levels with Marketing, Design, Sales, Pre-Sales, and other key stakeholders
- Able to put forward recommendations backed by metrics and delivered on time
- Project management and internal communication skills, ability to rally teams toward a shared goal
- Ability to analyze, report on, and communicate insights from Highspot (sales enablement platform)
- Be able to effectively lead multiple projects concurrently
- Preferred but not required: Experience with Highspot, Quantcast, Salesforce, Looker, Asana
- Execution-driven self-starter comfortable owning projects and flourishes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Charismatic, innovative, creative individual
- Must be confident, self-motivated, independent, and proactive with an energetic, positive attitude
