Located in a state-of-the-art facility in the Financial District, we combine hands-on classes, private mentorship, professional recording studios, and DJ labs to empower producers, engineers, and artists. We are seeking a data-driven, cross-functional Marketing Manager to lead our paid acquisition channels and support our community growth. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling direct sales, capturing high-quality student leads, and connecting our audience with our physical and digital learning offerings. 

Role Objectives

  • Drive Business Revenue: Maximize top-line growth by significantly scaling direct orders and conversions.
  • Accelerate Lead Generation: Build, manage, and optimize a robust pipeline of high-quality student inquiries for our programs.
  • Amplify Brand & Community Engagement: Expand our NYC and global student base by marketing our curated community events and workshop series.
  • Ensure Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary strategic bridge between our Media, EDU, and Sales departments.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Acquisition & Optimization

  • Campaign Management: Strategize, deploy, and scale paid search (Google Ads) and paid social (Meta, YouTube) performance marketing campaigns.
  • Conversion Optimization: Run rigorous A/B testing on ad formats, target demographics, bidding strategies, and landing page layouts to lower CPA and maximize ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Media Team Partnerships: Work hand-in-hand with our creative media professionals to brief, produce, and iterate on still and motion ads.
  • Landing Page Development: Collaborate on technical builds and structural copy to ensure ad traffic maps to highly cohesive, high-converting landing pages.
  • EDU Team Alignment: Partner with the product and education curriculum experts to ensure our ad messaging accurately captures the value of our courses and hardware setups.
  • Sales Feedback Loop: Work tightly with the sales team to evaluate the downstream lead quality and verify that live campaigns are resonating.

Content & Retention Support

  • Email & Newsletters: Assist with the execution of our subscriber newsletters and audience nurturing flows to convert warm leads.
  • Event Marketing: Promote in-person community milestones, monthly open jams, and short-term music workshops to drive foot traffic.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 3–5+ years of digital marketing experience, specifically managing paid acquisition channels within EdTech, music, or premium D2C industries.
  • Paid Media Expertise: Proven track record of directly managing monthly budgets on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Data-Centric Framework: Deep proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), native pixel tracking, and leveraging data to guide creative decisions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Superior cross-functional management skills, with the ability to clearly translate business analytics into creative briefs for artists and designers.
  • Industry Affinity: A strong passion for music production, technology, music education, or local creative subcultures.
  • Location Requirements: Ability to work out of our Lower Manhattan facility, maintaining alignment with our local community and hands-on studios

  • 3–5+ years of digital marketing experience managing paid acquisition channels (EdTech, music, or premium D2C preferred)
  • Direct experience managing monthly budgets in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) and native pixel tracking
  • Experience running A/B tests on ad creatives, bidding strategies, and landing pages for conversion optimization
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills with creative, product/EDU, and sales teams
  • Ability to work onsite at the Lower Manhattan facility
