This Isn't Your Typical Marketing Job
We’re not looking for someone to schedule a few posts, throw together a Canva graphic, and hope for likes.
A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds is looking for a creative, driven, take-charge Marketing & Content Specialist who knows how to find the story, capture it, and turn it into content people actually want to see.
This role combines social media, photography and video, content creation, community engagement, grassroots marketing, advertising, and brand storytelling.
Some days you'll be behind a computer building campaigns and reviewing performance. Other days you'll be behind the camera capturing our team, attending a community event, covering a partnership, or finding the moments that show people who A 2nd Chance really is.
If you need every idea handed to you, this probably isn't your role. If you naturally see opportunities, bring ideas to the table, and enjoy taking something from concept all the way through execution, keep reading.
Who We Are
A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds is a fast-paced, people-first organization built on accountability, transparency, and real results.
We believe in second chances, strong systems, clear expectations, and treating people like humans—even when the conversations are tough.
We work hard. We laugh often. We hold the line when it matters.
Our mission is simple:
We are committed to providing A 2nd Chance and an exceptional experience with respect to people who need it.
Our core values guide how we work every day: Team, Professionalism, Honesty, Respect, and Giving Back.
What You'll Do
You'll take an active role in telling our story and growing our presence both online and in the communities we serve.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating authentic photo and video content featuring our team, office culture, community involvement, partnerships, events, and the people behind our brand
- Shooting, editing, and producing short-form video content for social platforms
- Leading live video coverage for events, announcements, partnerships, and other company initiatives
- Writing engaging, personable copy for social media, blogs, newsletters, advertisements, and campaigns
- Developing and executing social media campaigns designed to drive meaningful engagement
- Creating custom graphics and branded visual content
- Managing content calendars and maintaining consistent, timely publishing
- Collaborating with leadership, operations, recruiting, and other internal teams to create campaigns that support company goals
- Supporting advertising initiatives across digital and traditional channels
- Developing grassroots marketing opportunities through local partnerships, collaborations, events, and in-person activations
- Identifying new opportunities to increase brand awareness and community engagement
- Tracking campaign and content performance and using meaningful metrics to improve strategy
- Bringing new ideas to the table—and taking ownership of turning those ideas into finished work
We're looking for someone who is both creative and strategic.
You may be a great fit if:
- You're a storyteller first and understand how to turn everyday moments into compelling content
- You're comfortable behind a camera and directing others on camera
- You're comfortable with live video and real-time event coverage
- You understand what makes social content feel authentic instead of overly produced or corporate
- You recognize content opportunities without needing someone else to point them out
- You're organized and can manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- You communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally
- You understand social media performance metrics and know how to use them to make better decisions
- You can balance creativity with business goals
- You're comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team
- You bring ideas—not just problems—and follow through on execution
Required Experience & Skills
Previous experience in social media marketing, content creation, and grassroots/community-focused campaigns is required.
Experience with the following platforms and tools is strongly preferred:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere
- Canva
- TikTok
- Google Workspace
- WordPress
Experience creating content in real-world, community, event, or field-based environments is a major plus.
Portfolio/work samples will be requested during the interview process.
What Success Looks Like Here
Success isn't simply posting every day or chasing follower counts.
It's creating content that feels alive instead of canned.
It's building an audience that actually engages.
It's producing video that feels natural, human, and worth watching.
It's developing campaigns that get people talking, participating, and remembering our name.
And it's building a body of work you're genuinely proud to put your name on.
Why A 2nd Chance?
You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your work and your ideas. We want someone who will experiment, create, challenge what's already being done, and help us continue building a brand that reflects the people and communities we serve.
You'll work with a team that values honesty, professionalism, giving back, teamwork, and respect—and leadership that wants good ideas brought to the table.
The Bottom Line
If you're looking for a role where your entire job is scheduling posts and watching impressions, this isn't it.
But if you want to be a creative force, community storyteller, content creator, and brand builder—and you take pride in turning ideas into work people actually notice—we want to meet you.
To be considered, please submit your resume and be prepared to share examples of your previous content, social media, video, graphic design, or marketing work.
