Outlook Wealth Advisors | The Woodlands, TX

Most marketing coordinator jobs want you to maintain. This one wants you to improve.

Outlook Wealth Advisors has been serving retirees in The Woodlands for 25 years, and we’re good at what we do. But our marketing has been running on the same systems and habits for a long time, and we’re ready to evolve. We need someone who can step into an established operation, learn it fast, and then make it better. Someone who gets excited about tools, likes a good event, and doesn’t need to be asked twice.

What you’ll actually do

Most of what we do is event-driven marketing. Dinner workshops, educational seminars, client appreciation events. You’ll plan them, promote them, and show up to a handful each year to see them through. Between events, you’ll manage email campaigns to prospects and clients, run our monthly newsletter with our local print vendor, keep social channels active, and track the numbers that tell us what’s working.

You’ll also have a real hand in how we use our tools. Our marketing systems don’t talk to each other as well as they should, and we want someone who can evaluate what we have and help us figure out what to keep, combine, or replace. If you’ve ever thought “I could get a lot more out of this platform than the last person did,” you’ll fit right in.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Build and manage email workflows for prospects and clients (currently HubSpot; platform is under evaluation)
  • Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, with occasional evening attendance
  • Manage our monthly newsletter from draft to delivery through our print vendor
  • Track marketing performance and report on what’s actually moving the needle
  • Coordinate outside vendors to execute marketing deliverables
  • Take occasional inbound calls to pre-qualify event registrants

RequirementsWhat we’re looking for Must-haves:
  • Real marketing coordination experience; this is not an entry-level role
  • Tech-comfortable and genuinely curious; we want someone who digs in, not someone who clicks around until they give up
  • Strong attention to detail; we work with retirees who’ve trusted us with their life savings, and our communications should reflect that
  • Comfortable working in a firm that markets to high-net-worth clients; our marketing is intentional and targeted
  • Someone who talks about past employers with professionalism; we ask, and how you answer tells us a lot
Nice to have:
  • Experience with HubSpot, Constant Contact, or a similar email platform
  • Salesforce familiarity
  • Financial services background (not required; we’ll get you up to speed on industry specifics)

BenefitsWhat you get
  • Base salary between $60,000 to $72,000 (depending on experience) with a performance bonus opportunity of $15,000 to $20,000
  • 3 weeks PTO (vacation and sick combined)
  • Most federal holidays, plus extra days around Thanksgiving and Christmas
  • 401(k) and medical benefits
  • A 12-person team that’s serious about the work and easy to be around
How to apply

Along with your resume, send us a short note: tell us about a campaign or event you’ve run and one thing you’d do differently if you had a do-over. Applications without this note will not be reviewed.
