Make a difference as Quality Assurance Manager
As Quality Assurance Manager, you work closely with and report to the Global Manager Quality Assurance to ensure the successful implementation of quality standards and processes across Enza Zaden. You play a key role in ensuring business continuity by driving certification, compliance, and product excellence worldwide. By improving processes, managing the associated audit program, and enhancing certified protocols, you deliver an essential contribution to our ambition to meet the expectations of growers worldwide. In this role, your work will include:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire your team while fostering collaboration and strengthening a culture of quality excellence across the organization;
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance program together with key stakeholders;
  • Optimize the QMS (document, audit, incident, and risk management) to strengthen consistency, standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization;
  • Plan and manage internal and external audits, act as the primary contact for auditors, and ensure effective follow-up of non-conformities (RCA & CAPA);
  • Simplify and improve processes by harmonizing and standardizing ways of working;
  • Train and coach colleagues to strengthen quality awareness, sharing best practices and foster a culture of quality excellence;
  • Lead or contribute to (QA) projects, incident and complaint investigation, and provide data-driven insights through reporting and analysis to support decision-making and strategy.

As Quality Assurance Manager, you are committed to achieving business objectives and you bring strong problem-solving skills. As a people-oriented manager you inspire teams and motivate others to act and achieve required results. You work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. A structured approach combined with a continuous improvement mindset, enables you to translate complex quality challenges into clear, practical solutions. In addition, you have:

  • A master’s degree in quality or process management, plant sciences, microbiology, chemistry or another relevant field;
  • At least 10 years of working experience, including 6 years in a managerial role, preferably within quality assurance;
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance, QMS principles and management tools;
  • Industry-specific (certification) experience is a pre;
  • Experience with combining systems and data analytics with a strong continuous improvement mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in Dutch and English.

  • A gross monthly salary between €5,974.10 and €8,534.42, based on a full-time workweek of 38 hours and aligned with your knowledge and experience;

  • 25 vacation days, the option to purchase additional vacation days, and one paid vitality day per year, with extra vacation days granted as you get older;

  • A contribution toward overnight accommodation costs if you live farther away from Enza Zaden. This program applies to employees working for Enza Zaden in the Netherlands whose one-way commute exceeds 100 kilometers and 75 minutes;
  • An attractive retirement plan, commuting reimbursement if you live more than 10 kilometers from your workplace and a remote work allowance when working partly from home in consultation with your manager;
