ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Manager for Data Transformation, you will guide the transformation of Content Operations through the design, implementation, and adoption of strategic technology capabilities. You will act as the bridge between business, operations, and technology teams to modernize processes, reduce operational complexity, and drive automation at scale.

In addition to defining the transformation strategy, product direction, and technology roadmap, you will lead and develop a team of Content Operations Transformation Leads responsible for the execution and delivery of content transformation activities. You will ensure operational excellence while driving continuous improvement, capability development, and adoption of new ways of working.

This role combines people leadership, product ownership, process transformation, stakeholder management, and technology strategy. Success in this role requires an individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, leading teams through change, challenging legacy approaches, and delivering measurable business outcomes through technology and process innovation. Team size 7-15 people.

As both a strategic leader and an integral member of a highly talented team, you will shape how Content Operations evolves through the adoption of emerging technologies, accelerating automation, improving data quality, and delivering outcomes that directly support the LSEG Data & Analytics strategy. Success in this role will be measured not only by the transformation you lead, but by your ability to build team capability, empower others, and create a culture where people and technology together drive lasting business impact.

What You'll Be Accountable For

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for the execution of content transformation and operational delivery activities.
  • Set clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations aligned to departmental and business goals.
  • Build team capability through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing, ensuring skills remain aligned with evolving business and technology requirements.
  • Create a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Manage resource planning, workload prioritisation, and capacity across the team to ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Support career development, succession planning, and wider talent management activities.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working within the team and broader organisation.

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Help define the vision, roadmap, and priorities for content infrastructure capabilities.
  • Translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions.
  • Balance stakeholder requirements, business value, technical constraints, and operational impact when prioritising features and enhancements.
  • Own business cases, product requirements, and release plans for capabilities under your remit.
  • Provide strategic direction to the team, ensuring operational priorities remain aligned with the long-term product vision and transformation roadmap.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the team through organisational and technology change, ensuring successful adoption of new capabilities and processes.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement where team members actively identify and deliver efficiency opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimise operational processes.
  • Lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Develop migration and adoption strategies for replacing legacy tools and processes.
  • Drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, resilience, and user experience.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Build strong relationships across Product, Technology, Operations, Data Strategy, Risk, and Governance teams.
  • Gather, assess, and prioritise stakeholder feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Communicate complex technical and operational concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Performance & Governance

  • Establish team performance metrics, service measures, and development objectives to ensure sustainable delivery and capability growth.
  • Define KPIs and success measures to monitor product performance, adoption, stability, and business value.
  • Ensure operational controls, governance, and quality standards are maintained.
  • Use data and reporting to drive continuous improvement decisions and support risk management and regulatory compliance requirements where relevant.

  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or other technologies used for automation and analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, generative AI, and modern productivity platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organisations.

Compensation Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between 205,600 zł - 325,100 zł. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
