As a Lead Solutions Analyst in Compliance - Corporate Sector, Trade Surveillance Technology, you will be responsible for delivering analytical and technical solutions that support our market surveillance and regulatory compliance capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and drive the analytical and solutions delivery roadmap for Trade Surveillance technology initiatives, aligning with firmwide compliance strategy, regulatory obligations, and business priorities
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and data flow requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations, regulatory constraints, and technical feasibility
- Lead gap analysis sessions with upstream and downstream systems teams to gather comprehensive requirements, identify integration dependencies, and develop actionable remediation plans
- Apply advanced data analytics techniques including SQL, Python, and cloud-native tools to extract actionable insights from large and diverse datasets, supporting surveillance alert tuning, threshold calibration, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making across compliance initiatives
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure all solutions adhere to evolving regulatory requirements, internal control standards, and audit readiness expectations
- Architect and oversee the design and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing surveillance systems, market data feeds, and infrastructure
- Own the escalation and resolution of complex cross-functional issues, proactively identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers across stakeholder groups
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and best practices to provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions for complex surveillance and compliance programs
- Mentor and develop team members in technical writing, analytical reasoning, data fluency, and solutions delivery, fostering a culture of continuous learning, high standards, and professional growth
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and performance development of solutions analysts within the team, building long-term bench strength and analytical capability aligned with team goals
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Extensive experience of data analysis, data mapping and working with large data sets.
- Strong domain knowledge of trade products and flows, including the functions of front office, middle office, back office, and settlement systems
- Deep understanding of financial instruments and markets, including Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Commodities, Futures, Options, and Swaps
- Prior experience in trading systems, regulatory controls, or compliance-oriented applications and environments
- High degree of expertise in data management, encompassing the full data lifecycle, including business requirements analysis, data feed definition, data mapping, integration across heterogeneous sources, and feed testing
- Experience in SQL and data analysis, with hands-on experience working with relational databases in on-premises and cloud environments
- Experience working with large-scale datasets for data retrieval, analysis, and inference generation to recommend solutions to complex business problems
- Experience leading requirements elicitation and documentation with business stakeholders, producing detailed functional specifications and maintaining traceability to technical implementation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and analytical findings to senior business, compliance, and technology stakeholders through written executive summaries, functional documentation, and verbal presentations
- Experience leveraging AI tools for productivity and efficiency improvement, including Agentic AI, Copilot, LLM-based assistants, and automation frameworks
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Familiarity with trade surveillance platforms such as NICE Actimize, Nasdaq Surveillance, or equivalent compliance monitoring systems
- Understanding of regulatory reporting workflows or compliance alert investigation and case management processes
- familiarity with Data Modeling experience, creation of conceptual, logical, and metadata models
- Knowledge on AWS, Databricks, or other cloud-native data platforms
- Prior experience in mentoring junior analysts and leading cross-functional delivery team
