Boeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer (RE) for Avionics Design in Huntsville, Alabama. As the avionics Lead EE you will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure the successful design and manufacturing of a new Avionics platform. The Lead EE will be the technical authority over the development, design, production, and test of the system.
Position Responsibilities:

• Establishes a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management and rapid issue resolution, providing alternative paths for issue resolution and an open dialogue on technical issues
• Lead requirement, function, and interface development for a new Avionics system
• Present data for the product at Design Reviews, product Acceptance and Qualification Reviews, and Delivery Reviews as required
• Guide technical path for product definition and execution
• Accountable to IPT Lead, IAMD CE and respective Program CE
• Technical authority over the development, design, production, and test of a new Avionics system

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. secret clearance Pre Start and final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
• Proven experience (5+ years) leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team in development or production environments
• Demonstrated experience with circuit card assembly design and bring up
• Experience with executing engineering in support of program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc)
• Engineering experience on development and production programs
• Experience supporting or managing engineering release processes
• Experience mentoring early career engineers
• Fundamental knowledge in power distribution systems, complex airborne power systems, power amplification systems, flight computers, IMUs, and/or Seeker/Radar system power architectures

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues
• Familiarity with technical proposal development
• Familiarity with test equipment design and validation
• Experience with SPICE, MATLAB, Mentor Graphics Expedition, and Hyperlynx
• Extensive experience with lab and measurement tools, ex. Oscilloscopes, DMMs and Power Supplies, etc.
• Active US clearance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Lead: $136,850 - $185,150
Senior: $164,900 - $223,100
