Job Title: Lead .Net Developer
Location: Columbus, OH 43215
Duration: 12+ months (Strong possibility for an extension)
Project Description:
• ODRC expects the senior developer to be extremely well rounded in programming languages with the main knowledge skills in Microsoft C#, .NET Framework 1.1 to current version, ASP.NET languages, WIN-Forms development, MS SQL Developer and experience in Enterprise Data Modeling.
• The responsibilities are primarily technical, senior developers also generally serve as an interface between the developers and management and have some supervisory responsibilities in delegating work and ensuring that software projects come in on time and under budget.
• Serve as technical adviser to management and provide programming perspective on requirements. Senior Developer is responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with little or no supervision to complete all tasks.
Requirements:
• Experience with C# – 10 Years
• Experience with .Net 1.1 to 4.0, ASP.net – 10 Years
• Experience with SQL procedures, functions tables views, etc – 10 Years
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to 2012 – 10 Years
• Experience creating test documentation and performing System Tests – 10 Years
• Experience with creating technical documentation with application functionality and test methods Required 10 Years
• Valid Driver's License Required
Highly Desired Skills:
• Experience with MS Visio or any flow diagram tool – 4 Years
• Experience with other programming languages such as JAVA and JQuery – 4 Years
• Experience with the front-end framework Bootstrap tools – 1 Year
• Experience with DotNetNuke (DNN) web content management system – 1 Year
• Experience with Knockout Library web framework – 1 Year
• Experience with the programming language of JQuery Mobile – 1 Year
• Experience with Version control tools, ODRC uses TFS – 4 Years
• Test systems, i.e. user-acceptance testing, white box testing, black box testing, defect tracking to identify changes – 10 Years
• Work experience in creating and coordinating technical, functional and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures – 10 Years
• Utilize software development life cycle methodologies to execute projects according to specifications – 10 Years
• Experience analyzing user needs & existing functions to determine business requirements, screen & interface design, use cases – 10 Years
Key Skills:
• Development Skills: Solutions design, Project technical planning, (Edits or creates for recommendation and approval Enterprise or IT artifacts, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and best practices), Analysis and design, Communication, Testing and implementation, Recommends software reusability guidelines, Plans and conducts formal mentorship activities for peers and/or lower-level staff via verbal instruction or technical documentation.
• Development Tools: C#, .NET1.1 to 4.0, ASP, Java Script and Active X controls, familiar with other language tools.
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• Diagramming Tools: MS Visio or any flow diagram tools (optional)
• Version Control: ODRC uses TFS for version control for source code and Documents, any products ok.
• Testing: Perform System Test and Create Test Documentation
• Documentation: Create Technical documentation with application functionality and test methods, various flow diagrams (Business/Functional)
