Required Technical and Professional Experience-
ServiceNow CMD L3 Developer
• Min 7 years of experience of ITOM/CMDB knowledge with certification.
The CMDB Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Developer is knowledgeable in processes supporting the CMDB development . The CMDB SME/Developer designs, develops, deploys, and enables ServiceNow CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping solution for a project. The role has the responsibility to perform problem determination of issues and provide updates as necessary to resolve.
An SME/L3 Developer will perform the following activities under their scope of responsibility.
• Update and extend the Data Model (table changes, form changes and permissions) based on approved requests
• Design and develop data load process for data loading
• Provide support for CMDB issues
• Implement ServiceNow development stories and RFSs
• Customize or support CMDB Integrations
• Provide support for complex problems related to the CMDB solution that are raised by the operation teams
• Configure, deploy, and customize standard reports and dashboards, including ServiceNow CMDB Audit Dashboard
• Create and update CMDB catalog items, forms and views, transform maps, IRE, Script Includes and Business rules.

For a solution deployed with ServiceNow Discovery, the SME/Developer has additional responsibilities pertaining to aspects of the Discovery processes and patterns including the following specific responsibilities
• Configure ServiceNow MID-server for Discovery deployment
• Enhance custom patterns (probes and sensors) for requested and approved changes
• Create new patterns for new types of devices or requirements
• Provide support for discovery/Service Mapping issues raised by the Configuration Manager or Configuration Librarian including network access and permissions/credentials
• Work with support teams to resolve network access and permissions/credentials issues
-Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc.) with debugging and problem-solving skills
•Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software
•Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, Rest based web services
•Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues
•Deep understanding of OOP and Design patterns.
