Since then, we’ve helped more than 3,500,000 customers around the world to find quiet, enjoy great experiences and keep unwanted noise at bay.
In 2023 we grew from almost 100 Loopers to over 250 people. And that’s a number we would have to keep updating every month, as we are planning to double the team once again, this year.
Our headquarters are based in Antwerp, but with hubs in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and New York, we’re dotted all over the globe.
Not to brag about it, but we’ve recently won the EY Scale up of the year award, the Deloitte Fast50 award (for the second year in a row) and a couple of other amazing (international) prices. The New York Times named us ‘best earplugs for concerts’ and thousands of noise-sensitive customers call us a ‘life changer’.

As our Lead Designer in our studio team, you'll lead pivotal design initiatives, setting new benchmarks in user-centric innovation and gatekeeping the quality of all materials produced for the Shopify team.

As Lead Designer, you’ll empower exceptional user experiences and drive design innovation
As a Lead Designer you will be end-responsible for all materials by approving all flows and designs created. You strategize and oversee the creation of intuitive, engaging designs, directly impacting our user's journey and satisfaction. You will refine our design system, ensuring all visual and interactive elements stay ahead of industry curves, driving consistency and recognition across all platforms while collaborating extensively with our Shopify team. Transforming user insights into dynamic design solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible, enhancing both aesthetic and functional standards.
Your other responsibilities:
- Develop user personas and journey maps, aligning design strategies with user expectations and business goals.
- Prototype and design across digital platforms with a mobile-first approach, ensuring high usability and coherence.
- Actively participate in usability testing, utilizing feedback to refine and optimize design outputs.
- Work alongside development teams to ensure designs are executed flawlessly, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Keep pace with industry trends to integrate best practices into our projects, continuously elevating our design standards.
How you’ll succeed as our lead designer

These key competences will set you up for success:
- You bring strong skills in Figma and have worked with Photoshop, showcasing your life-long commitment to design.
- You are proficient with responsive design principles, particularly for mobile platforms.
- You have experience within e-commerce UX, particularly within product-oriented brands.
- You are skilled in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Excellent collaborative skills and stakeholder management, necessary for working with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life.
