What You’ll Do

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving CtrlChain’s commercial growth by acquiring and developing strategically important customers across Europe.

You operate across the full commercial cycle—from identifying opportunities to closing complex deals and enabling long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and win large and strategically relevant customers
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Build and manage a strong, high-quality pipeline focused on impactful opportunities
  • Drive value-based selling across both SaaS and transportation solutions
  • Negotiate commercially sound agreements with strong focus on pricing, margin, and deal quality
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on logistics optimization and digital transformation
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and long-term value realization after acquisition
  • Identify and drive selective, high-value expansion opportunities within key accounts
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and Carrier Management
  • Strengthen CtrlChain’s market position through insight, network, and commercial excellence

Requirements

Who You Are

You’re a commercially sharp professional who enjoys building opportunities from the ground up and closing deals that matter. You are confident navigating complexity and influencing decision-makers at different levels.

Requirements:

  • HBO / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in (key) account management
  • Proven success in acquiring and closing large / key customers in a B2B environment
  • Strong track record in acquiring and closing new business
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or SaaS is highly preferred
  • Experience with complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Skilled in value-based selling and commercial storytelling
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Additional European language (e.g. Spanish) is a plus
