Your role at Hostinger

As a Junior Network Engineer, you’ll help operate and grow Hostinger’s global network of nearly 1,000 network devices across data centers worldwide.

You’ll work hands-on with Linux networking, BGP, peering, automation, observability, and DDoS protection, while learning how large-scale production networks are built and operated.

We automate repetitive work, avoid manual configuration where possible, and focus on building a network that is reliable, scalable, and easy to operate.

Your day-to-day
  • Help maintain Hostinger’s global network and learn how we keep it reliable.

  • Learn how networks connect - including BGP routing, peering, transit services and Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) - with guidance from experienced teammates.

  • Use Python, Ansible and NetBox to help automate routine work and keep network information organized.

  • Support IP address management by helping with address allocation, capacity tracking and up - to - date records.

  • Monitor network health with Prometheus and Grafana, and learn how sFlow telemetry helps us spot issues.

  • Help investigate packet loss, routing problems and performance issues alongside experienced engineers.

  • Contribute to improvements in DDoS protection and other network security controls.

  • Build practical experience with Linux networking, routers, switches and network services.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, hardware, security, monitoring and product teams.

  • Help improve documentation and runbooks so network tasks are easier to understand and follow.

What will help you succeed
  • Basic Linux and networking knowledge - you do not need to be an expert, but a solid foundation is important.

  • A strong willingness to learn - there will be a lot to learn, and we do not expect you to know everything from day one.

  • Confidence to ask questions when something is unclear instead of being afraid to speak up.

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with the rest of the team.

  • A problem-solving mindset - willingness to investigate, test, and understand the root cause instead of only fixing the symptom.

  • A preference for automation over repetitive manual work.

  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks, follow them through, and learn from mistakes.

  • Willingness to participate in a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation once you are fully onboarded and ready to handle production incidents independently.
