Join a leading Swiss design company that has been manufacturing furniture from aluminium for over 100 years. Thanks to its expertise in processing aluminum sheets for design purposes, it is one of the few companies on the market offering a collection made entirely of aluminium.
To support its continued growth and an upcoming generational transition, the company is looking for a Junior Supply Chain Manager and Project Leader. In this role you oversee and optimize the daily flow of goods, ensure material availability, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate administrative processes across the supply chain. You will work closely with the management team and the sales management, and take over responsibility gradually through a structured handover with the current production leader.
- Procurement and order planning: order processing, deadline monitoring and supplier quotations in coordination with production planning (AVOR)
- Supplier management: sourcing new suppliers, price negotiations and identifying development partners
- Procurement of raw materials, including aluminium sheets and components
- Support with the digitalisation of order, production and warehouse processes
- Stock management: stock monitoring, support with stock-taking and avoidance of stock-outs
- Data and ERP maintenance (Enventa), including performance reports and the entry of new products
- Product costing for standard and special projects in collaboration with sales management
- Interface management: close coordination with management, the sales manager, external service providers and suppliers
- Providing technical support to the sales team, customer service and complaints handling in collaboration with the back office
- Assisting with recruitment for production in collaboration with senior management and AVOR
Requirements
- Solid understanding of supply chain and production processes, cost structures and supplier management
- Willingness to travel and to develop actively and build relationships with new suppliers
- Genuine curiosity about new technologies and interest in supporting digitalization initiatives
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
- Italian is a plus but not required
- Motivated, hands-on person interested in growing into a role with increasing responsibility as part of the company's next generation
Benefits
- Start: approx. January, with a structured handover from the current production leader over 3–4 months
- Location: Dübendorf, Switzerland (on-site)
- Workload: 60–100%
- Employment type: employee leasing, with the option to transition to a permanent position
- Hourly wage: CHF 42+
