We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to collaborate in the technical design of solutions (backend), solution development and guaranteeing the quality of the implementation/rollout/maintenance of new features that should go live while working in conjunction with the engineering team. 

What you'll do:

  • Stay aligned with Engineering Managers for decentralized technical decisions.  
  • Participate in high level requirements meetings and tech refinements to help your team to define the tech solution. 
  • Support the squad in making technical decisions and question current standards. 
  • Suggesting new tools and technologies to solve the problems. 
  • Talk and elaborate ideas and raise issues for both technical and non-technical people. 
  • Contribute to the Backend Chapter and absorb knowledge. 
  • Help with the career development of other professional developers. 
  • Identification, prioritization and resolution of technical debts and bugs. 
  • Support the hiring process by participating in technical interviews. 

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field or in progress. 
  • Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving. 
  • Be a beginner in at least one programming language and its main frameworks. 
  • Knowledge in Systems Architectural styles (Monolith, Plugin, SOA, Microservices, Event-driven) 
  • Knowledge of Architecture concepts (Software design, hexagonal architecture, onion, clean architecture). 
  • Knowledge of API and capabilities. 
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. 
  • Knowledge in System Modeling (desirable on tactical DDD) 
  • Knowledge of Agile Framework. 
  • Knowledge of DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD) and main tools. 
  • Knowledge in Quality (stress tests, load, TDD, BDD).
