Interloop is a People,
Process, and Technology consulting firm with offices in India and the UAE. For
seven consecutive years, we've grown profitably while helping startups, SMBs,
and mid-market enterprises align how they hire, sell, and scale. We're a leading
Zoho Partner — and now evolving from a services firm into a product-led
organisation building proprietary solutions that scale.
In one paragraph
Every Zoho app our clients run has a gap
between what it does out of the box and what the business actually needs. As a
Junior Zoho Developer, you'll close that gap with Deluge — Zoho's own scripting
language, which links 50+ Zoho products — and with Zoho Creator, Zoho's
low-code platform for custom business applications. You'll build Creator apps,
write the Deluge logic behind them, automate workflows across CRM, People,
Books, and Desk, and connect Zoho to the outside world through APIs. You come
in already writing Deluge and comfortable in Creator. We'll take you from there
to client-ready.
· You've written Deluge — in
Creator, CRM, or a personal project — and want to do it every day
· You'd rather automate a process
once than watch people do it by hand forever
· You like tracing why a script
failed, line by line, until you find it
· You want to understand the
business problem behind the code, not just the task
Application Development on Zoho Creator
· Build Creator applications —
forms, reports, pages, and workflows — from requirement to go-live
· Set up field validations,
lookups, subforms, and role-based permissions
· Design data structures in
Creator that stay clean as the client's records grow
· Write Deluge scripts for form
actions, scheduled workflows, and approval flows
· Build custom functions in
Creator, CRM, and other Zoho apps
· Work confidently with Deluge
collections — lists and maps — and its built-in functions
· Automate notifications and
document generation with Deluge tasks such as send mail
· Fetch, create, and update
records across Zoho apps using Deluge integration tasks
· Call Zoho and third-party REST
APIs with invokeURL and set up Connections (OAuth)
· Parse JSON responses and handle
errors so integrations never fail silently
· Test every script against the
requirement and edge cases before handover
· Support UAT, fix issues within
agreed timelines, and deploy changes safely
· Document scripts and app
configurations so the next developer can pick them up
Experience
· 0–2 years of hands-on
development - internships, client projects, and serious personal builds all
count
· B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc
(CS/IT) or equivalent
· Working knowledge of Deluge is
a must - you should be able to write, read, and debug Deluge scripts
· Hands-on work on Zoho Creator
is a must - forms, reports, workflows, and Deluge inside Creator
· Zoho Creator certification, or
exposure to Zoho CRM customisation or Zoho Catalyst, is a plus
· Deluge - variables, conditions,
loops, lists and maps, built-in functions, integration tasks, invokeURL
· Zoho Creator - forms, reports,
pages, workflows, permissions, and app deployment
· Programming fundamentals - logic building and clean code; JavaScript or Python is a plus
· APIs - REST basics, JSON,
webhooks, and OAuth through Zoho Connections
· Data - relational thinking and
basic SQL
· AI tools - uses Zia or other AI
coding assistants to move faster, and reviews every line before it ships
· Communication - explains what a
script does, clearly, to consultants and non-technical clients
You read the requirement twice before you
write a line. You ask the question early instead of rebuilding late. You test
your own scripts before anyone else sees them. You own what you build - hrough
deployment and the first bug report after. You document as you go, not after.
Deluge and Creator get you through the door. These habits are what get you to
the next level.
· Deep Deluge and Zoho Creator
expertise - skills in growing demand across Zoho's 50+ products
· Real delivery experience - requirement to build to go-live, inside live client businesses
· Integration depth across CRM,
People, Books, Desk, and third-party platforms
· Business context most
developers never get - how HR, sales, and operations actually run
· A clear growth path
This isn't just a scripting job — it's
where you learn to build the systems businesses actually run on.
