JAVA Developers – Liferay.
Location: Naperville, IL.
Duration: 6-12 months.
Role Purpose:
• Development in Liferay Portal – J2EE app development
• The resource will be working on Liferay, Java, Spring, Struts, JSP, WebServices etc.,
Principle accountability:-
• End-to-End handling of Development activities
• Will be responsible gathering requirements, supporting solution design, developing detailed design and coding unit testing
• Will be responsible for development of Portal components
• Experience in writing test cases and create test scripts starting with little or no documentation
• Should have the ability to think analytically, offer ideas & recommendations as required
Technical Competencies:
Good hands on experience in LifeRay, Java Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSP, J2EE, Java Web Services
Experience in implementing a portal using LifeRay.
Exposure to good Database knowledge- MySQL
3-5 Years of web Portal App Development experience

Skills Required
- 3-5 years of web portal application development experience
- Hands-on experience implementing portals using Liferay
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, JSP
- Experience with Hibernate and Java Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Database knowledge: MySQL
- Ability to gather requirements, support solution and detailed design, and perform unit testing
- Experience writing test cases and creating test scripts with little or no documentation
- Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder interaction skills
