We’re looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong technical skills, experience in the banking sector, and professional fluency in French and English.

Your Profile:- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming
- Professional experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience with Hibernate / JPA
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services
- Good understanding of API design, integration and security principles
- Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with unit and integration testing, using tools such as JUnit and Mockito
- Good knowledge of Git and version control practices
- Experience with Maven or Gradle
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean code
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing backend applications
- Previous professional experience in the banking or financial services sector
- Understanding of financial products, banking processes and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development teams
- Fluency in French and English – mandatory
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Knowledge of SOAP web services
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Experience with payments, lending, cards, risk or other banking domains
- Knowledge of financial security and compliance standards
