Job Description:
- 3+ years hand-on experience on Cloud platforms – OpenShift, OpenStack, AWS or VMWare or Azure.
- 15+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.)
- In-depth technical skills in infrastructure design & server infrastructure implementation on Cloud Platforms.
- Knowledge about RESTful APIs/SOAP and to architect cloud ready applications.
- Good understanding of DevOps technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Zookeeper etc.
- Experience creating and conducting Solutions Designs, proof-of-concept, developing prototype and reference models.
- Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and make strategic recommendations to Sr. and Executive Mgmt as well
- as all levels of internal/external service partners
- A deep passion for technology and a love of learning new things.
Technical skills required:-
- Very Good understanding on Java /J2EE/JBoss/WAS and Dot Net Frameworks and 2 Tier/ 3 Tier Architectures
- Cloud Platforms IaaS/PaaS – AWS, VMWare or Pivotal
- x86-64, RISC based server systems, & Blade Server Technologies
- VMWare ESX
- Linux
- WAN & LAN technologies
- Storage/SAN/NAS system technologies
- OS Security
- Experience with large Database systems
- Experience with scripting languages
- Experience with alerting tools such as Tivoli, Nimsoft, Dynatrace, Splunk etc
