We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator, based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, an Internet Company based in California.
Our client’s e-commerce platform aims to empower their community of incredibly talented artists to create and sell art online through over 60 unique product offerings. Their focus is on creating high-quality products that bring joy into the homes and lives of their large and growing customer base.
Our client’s Internet properties have over 100 million unique visitors per month. Their success is based on the stability of their products’ performance, usability, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to support tickets, calls, and emails from employees.
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, networking, security tools, and line-of-business applications.
- Handle onboarding, offboarding, and user access management.
- Monitor the ticket board and maintain clean, timely ticket flow.
- Manage laptop procurement, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Administer Google Workspace (groups, org units, provisioning/deprovisioning).
- Configure and troubleshoot SSO/SAML integrations across business applications, using Google Workspace as the identity provider.
- Conduct periodic access reviews to ensure offboarding hygiene.
- Manage VPN infrastructure, including certificate renewals and configuration.
- Serve as first responder for phishing, impersonation, and other security incidents — triage, contain, and escalate as needed.
- Own remediation tracking for findings from security scanning tools (Orca, Snyk, Qualys).
- Support information security audits and internal documentation reviews.
- Manage IT vendor relationships, license renewals, and budget tracking for tools and hardware.
- Maintain and improve internal SOPs and documentation.
- Coordinate backup coverage during planned absences as primary point of contact for IT issues.
- Design and implement new IT infrastructure and tooling as the company scales (e.g., new identity providers, device management platforms, automation for provisioning/deprovisioning).
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or platforms to replace manual processes.
- Build lightweight automation/scripting to reduce repetitive support work.
Requirements
- Advanced Level of English.
- 3+ years of Service Desk, MSP, or IT Systems Administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across a wide range of systems and platforms.
- Confident with Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, networking, and cybersecurity tools.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement new systems and workflows, not just maintain existing ones.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Bonus Points
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Experience with SSO/SAML configuration and identity provider management (Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD, or similar).
