Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to on-site and remote users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Monitor the daily performance of computer systems, modifying configurations, utilities, and software default settings as necessary for workstations.
- Deploy new and replacement equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Guarantee end-user satisfaction, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Maintain asset tracking records and collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and manage the equipment replacement schedule.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Develop training materials and procedures, and train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
- Stay up-to-date with current desktop and LAN technologies through continuing education, journal reviews, web searches, and formal seminar opportunities.
- Coordinate network coverage with the IT Manager. Occasional night and/or weekend work may be required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
