Job DescriptionOverall Purpose of Job:
KOSTAL is running a central SAP S/4 HANA system, which is connected via an online interface to a central PLM to exchange engineering changes, material master with variant management, BOM’s and more Your task is to work together with your colleagues in the specialist area to develop new solutions and solving errors.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Analyse business requests and issues.
- Configuration to fulfil business requirements.
- Creation of programming requests and testing the correction or new solution.
- Documentation of the solution
- User support, incident handling and standard service fulfilment.
- Support processes in the area of engineering changes, runout management and samples.
Experiences and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with ABAP development
- Programming experience (ABAP)
- Knowledge in 4PEP by ILC (SAP add-on) would be beneficial.
- Fluent English
- German welcome
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation to interact with IT colleagues, business stakeholders and external partners
- Good overview of the main processes in a producing company (automotive branch welcome).
- Experienced working in an international, virtual team.
- You have worked as ABAP developer and you like to change into the consulting area.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of ABAP development experience
- Programming experience with ABAP
- Knowledge of 4PEP by ILC
- Fluent English
- German language skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
- Good understanding of core processes in a producing company, preferably automotive
- Experience working in an international, virtual team
- Experience as an ABAP developer and interest in transitioning into consulting
