Job Summary: The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure and operations within the organization. This role involves managing IT systems, ensuring network security, and optimizing IT processes to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor security measures to protect data and IT assets.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage IT staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of IT services.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international IT regulations and standards.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of IT strategies aligned with business goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and solving complex IT issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting and financial management in an IT context.
- Educational Background: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
