Overview
Beech Valley is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Record-to-Report (R2R) process for a software client. This is an interim, full-time role for someone who can jump into core operational accounting, help keep month-end moving, and contribute to audit readiness and documentation.
What You’ll Do
Support the full Record-to-Report cycle, including recurring close activities and accounting operations
Assist with cash reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
Support fixed asset accounting tasks (tracking, rollforwards, reconciliations)
Contribute to month-end close activities: preparing support, posting support schedules, and helping tie-outs
Assist with audit readiness: organizing support, responding to requests, and improving documentation
Create and maintain process documentation and checklists to improve consistency and controls
What We’re Looking For
Staff Accountant-level experience in operational accounting and/or month-end close support
Strong reconciliation skills and comfort working with detailed support schedules
Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Comfortable working a hybrid schedule with onsite collaboration
Nice to Have
Experience with SAP and/or Sage (preferred)
