- Job Title: Interim Healthcare Controller (Future Opportunities)

- Compensation: Competitive, 1099 or W2 salary plus travel expenses
What You’ll Do (Scope May Vary by Assignment):
- Lead and manage all financial functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, annual/monthly statement preparation, inventory, fixed assets, receivables/payables, Payroll and reconciliations.
- Coordinate tax returns, audits, and reviews with outside accountants along with maintaining the treasury relationship with the banks and financial lenders.
- Oversee general accounting, revenue cycle, and cost reporting functions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal controls
- Stabilize or optimize financial processes during periods of organizational change
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum seven (7) years' proven experience as a Controller or senior financial leader in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Track record of success in interim, consulting, or project-based roles
- Experience with major EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech)
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and cost reporting
- Comfortable adapting quickly to new environments and challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
