About the Role:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Insurance Operations Manager with over 3 -5 years of experience in insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, developing strategies to increase insurance policy sales and ensuring targets are met. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, training new employees and driving growth in the insurance business.
Location: Dar es Salaam - Tanzania

Key Responsibilities;
- Team Leadership and Management, Recruit, hire and onboard new sales representatives.
- Sales Strategy and Planning, Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management, Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing concerns and providing personalized service.
- Product Knowledge and Sales Training, Stay up-to-date with the latest insurance products, industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting, Monitor and track sales team performance against targets, KPIs and quotas.
- Marketing and Business Development, collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that promote insurance products.
Qualifications and Experience;
- Minimum of 3-5 years in Insurance sales or a related field,
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate sales data and trends.
- Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations.
- Proficiency with CRM software, sales tracking tools and Microsoft Office
