- Deploy OpenShift to new sites as the platform expands
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration needs and scale the platform accordingly
- Partner with Security teams to ensure compliance and build secure-by-design solutions
- Manage data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and the Elastic Stack
- Write clear, thorough documentation to support teammates and future maintainers
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5–8 years of developer or platform engineering experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (one of the following): Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA
Nice to Have (but not all required — bring what you have!):
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in cloud or vSphere environments
- Familiarity with AWS
- Scripting skills in Python or Shell, and comfort with Git
- Experience with Linux (RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS)
- CI/CD experience using GitLab CI or Jenkins
- Knowledge of container technologies — Docker, Kubernetes, and the broader CNCF ecosystem
- Work on meaningful, high-impact missions that matter at a national level
- Join a team that values autonomy and trust — you'll own your work
- Grow your skills in a modern cloud-native environment
- Be part of an Agile team that moves fast and collaborates openly
If you meet most of the qualifications and are excited about the work, we encourage you to apply. We know great engineers don't always check every box.
