Merit Landscape Solutions is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Partner to support our teams across Texas.

What You’ll DoAs our HR Partner, you’ll provide day-to-day HR support across five branches and help ensure our people processes run smoothly and consistently.
- Partner with branch leadership on recruiting, critical staffing needs, and workforce planning
- Support employee relations and help leaders navigate day-to-day people matters
- Process and support payroll activities
- Coordinate with Benefits Administration (BA) to support new-hire onboarding
- Assist with annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications
- Coordinate employee surveys and support follow-up initiatives
- Execute company-wide and local HR programs
- Maintain accurate employee information in ADP
- Prepare HR reports and maintain employee data
- Provide local administrative support across the Houston branches
- Help ensure compliance with applicable employment requirements and company policies
- Travel to local branches as needed to build relationships and provide hands-on HR support
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a strong fit if you bring a practical, service-oriented approach to HR and feel comfortable balancing the needs of employees, managers, and the business. Qualifications include:
- HR Generalist, HR Partner, or comparable hands-on HR experience
- Experience with recruiting, employee relations, payroll, onboarding, and HR administration
- Experience supporting multiple locations, branches, or field-based teams preferred
- Spanish-speaking required
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with employee data and reporting
- Ability to build trusted relationships with employees and leaders at all levels
- Ability to work in-office and travel locally to branches as needed
- Experience with ADP preferred
- H-2B program experience preferred

$75000 - $95000
