Hands-on Full-Stack Development Manager | Fixed-Term Renewable Contract
Youtap is an international fintech company providing payment, digital banking, loyalty and commerce platforms to banks, telecommunications companies and major enterprises.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering who will actively code and lead software development. You will write production code, set coding standards, review the team’s work and lead our frontend, backend and Quality Assurance teams in Bangkok.
This is a senior development leadership role—not a purely managerial position.
Requirements
What You Will Do
- Write, review and deliver production-quality code.
- Lead full-stack development across frontend and backend systems.
- Set coding standards and guide architecture and technical decisions.
- Lead code reviews, resolve complex technical issues and improve engineering quality.
- Manage, mentor and develop the engineering and QA teams.
- Take ownership of development delivery, testing and releases.
- Lead the use of AI coding tools, development agents and automated testing.
- Work directly with customers on requirements, integrations and technical issues.
- Contribute to Youtap’s strategy as a member of the Management Team.
What You Bring
- Strong, current full-stack development experience.
- Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Helm, APIs, microservices and CI/CD.
- Experience designing and developing secure, scalable enterprise platforms.
- Proven leadership of frontend, backend and QA teams.
- Advanced practical experience with AI-assisted software development.
- Experience in fintech, payments, digital banking, telecommunications technology or a similar enterprise software sector.
- A strong record of mentoring and developing engineers.
- Confidence communicating with enterprise customers and senior executives.
- Excellent written and spoken Thai and English.
