Job Description

Oversee the entire activities of the Sales and Marketing department.

Provide leadership expertise in providing efficient and focused sales and marks strategies so as to achieve the Group‘s strategy, growth and profit objectives.

Prepare an annual sales and marketing strategy and budget, and continuously monitor and report on its achievements on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.

Prepare weekly sales and marketing reports for submission to the Executive Director

Based on marketing reports and sales performance revise strategies accordingly on a periodically and submit same to the Executive Director.

Oversee product research and development according to market trends and customer demand.

Oversee all advertising, publicity and brand management.

Lead on customer satisfaction surveys and report to management to inform on implications/future sales strategies.

Coordinate feasibility studies on proposed products.

Liaise with line departments with regards to performance on manufacturing, transportation of goods to Customers, and invoicing.

Appraise the performance of the Marketing and Sales team members.

Review requests by line managers to recruit new employees and make appropriate recommendations to the Human Resource Department.

Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications

A degree in Social Sciences or Humanities

Possession of higher degree will be an added advantage

15+ years Sales and Marketing experience l0 of which must be at senior level within the FMCG and manufacturing industry.

In-depth knowledge of Sales and Marketing concepts.

Knowledge of different Sales territories and economic environment of the country.

Ability to lead and mentor a diverse group of employees

Excellent Written and oral communication skill.

Working in multinational with solid global and proven track record in diverse markets.

Knowledge of export market operations for Industrial products and consumer goods.

Must not be older than 45 years.
