About the Role:
We're looking for a part-time Brand Designer to own the visual design of the brand across digital and print. We're a small but growing marketing team where everyone wears many hats. You'll work across a range of projects and touchpoints, and no two weeks will look exactly the same. As the team scales, there's real opportunity to deepen your focus and grow within your area of expertise.
This is a hands-on role for an ultra-creative problem solver with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to execute across both digital and print. You bring strong craft, a consistent aesthetic, and the resourcefulness to figure things out as we grow.
This role reports to the Chief Brand Officer and works closely with the Photo & Video Content Creator and the broader marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Design
- Own all digital design projects: social assets, email templates, website graphics, paid ads, and pitch decks
- Create on-brand, beautifully curated design elements that drive audience engagement and reinforce brand awareness
- Take ownership of special projects including infographics, landing pages, and other assets for the website
Print, Packaging & Physical Touchpoints
- Own all print design projects: packaging, inserts, signage, event materials, and merchandise
- Research and source materials for packaging, printing, and physical brand touchpoints
- Support vendor evaluation, samples, and prototypes as we iterate
- Prepare print-ready files and manage proofs with vendors
Brand Consistency
- Maintain visual consistency across every touchpoint
- Build and maintain brand templates the whole team can use
- Help evolve and document brand guidelines as the brand grows
Content & Creative Execution
- Stay current on design trends and platform formats, bringing fresh creative ideas consistently
- Assist in writing creative briefs for campaigns, partnerships, and special projects
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and ops to ensure creative is aligned with broader goals and timelines
Systems & Asset Management
- Build and maintain organized systems for all creative assets, templates, and brand materials
- Create clear file structures, naming conventions, and handoff processes that scale as the team grows
Tools & Innovation
- Actively research new tools, technologies, and AI-powered workflows that can increase creative output and efficiency
- Bring recommendations to the team and implement where it makes sense
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in graphic design, brand design, or a similar role
- Strong graphic design skills with experience designing across digital and print: social assets, email, packaging, and marketing materials
- Experience preparing print-ready files and working with printers and packaging vendors
- Strong typography, layout, and color skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Experience creating assets for both social and paid channels
- Detail-oriented with an ultra-creative approach to problem solving
- Highly organized with a systems-thinking mindset
- Curious about new tools and proactive about bringing them into your workflow
- Genuine interest in food, farming, and the people behind what we eat
- Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills and has the ability to multitask
Preferred Experience and Character:
- Passion for local farming and NYC food scene
- Packaging design experience, especially for food or CPG
- Motion graphics or basic photography skills a plus
