Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Graphic Designer/Visualization Specialist to design and maintain modern, user-friendly websites and Microsoft SharePoint environments. This role will translate ideas, data, and mission requirements into polished web products, compelling visualizations, dashboards, reports, and publications. The successful candidate will help ensure digital content is accurate, accessible, well organized, visually engaging, and easy to navigate.
This position combines graphic design, data visualization, web content management, and SharePoint expertise in support of high-visibility mission requirements. The work will help stakeholders communicate complex information clearly, improve digital user experiences, and support informed decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, develop, and deliver graphics, multimedia, visual communications, dashboards, and other digital products supporting the Agency’s mission and communications initiatives.
Create and edit maps, charts, graphs, infographics, presentations, reports, publications, and other visual content using data and information from analysts, developers, subject-matter experts, and program leadership.
Transform complex quantitative and qualitative information into accurate, engaging, and easy-to-understand visual products.
Design and incorporate graphics, multimedia, and other content into webpages, intranet sites, and Microsoft SharePoint environments.
Provide visual design, technical, usability, and editorial guidance to customers and project teams.
Review, organize, and maintain web content to ensure information is accurate, current, consistent, accessible, and easy to find.
Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations describing analytical findings, product development activities, and dashboard functionality.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Associate's Degree in Graphic Design, a certificate from an accredited design or graphics program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 6+ years of related professional experience.
Demonstrated experience designing visual products and maintaining websites in an Intelligence Community, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense, or Federal Government environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint front-end design and content management, including incorporating graphics, multimedia, lists, libraries, and other visual content into SharePoint sites.
Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable graphic design software, as well as Windows-based environments.
Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including visual hierarchy, composition, layout, typography, color, branding, and conceptual design.
Ability to organize and maintain web content; identify outdated or duplicative information; support content governance, records, accessibility, and website maintenance activities; and improve overall user experience.
Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, subject-matter experts, developers, analysts, and personnel at all levels, including executive-level clients.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, document requirements, meet firm deadlines, and perform effectively in high-visibility and time-sensitive situations.
