Description
- Works collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances or conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions.
- Provides graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques.
- Uses Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content.
- Integrates graphics with text, audio and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products.
- Produces dynamic content IAW IC published standards (i.e. D3 Style Guide), including podcasts or audio segments.
- Provides user experience / user interface expertise for development of interactive graphics and web products.
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design across print, digital, and multimedia products
- Experience with Section 508 compliance for designing and developing accessible products
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Word, and design tools such as Premiere Pro, XD, After Effects, and MAPublisher
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver design outcomes that align with mission-focused goals
- Knowledge of DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) processes and requirements
- Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of design work, including visual solutions for complex challenges
- TS/SCI clearance, with a willingness to complete a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to graphic design.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience
- Alternatively, 7 years of graphic design experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with professional graphics and design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro X, Apple platforms, Map Publisher, and Microsoft Office Suite
- TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance
