Role Description The Graphic Design Intern role at IRIX Solutions is a full-time, Hybrid position based in Colombo. In this role, you will support the design team by creating visual assets for digital campaigns, websites, social media, and presentations. You will assist with concept development, layout design, and the creation of logos, icons, and brand elements under the guidance of senior designers. Daily tasks include image editing, preparing files for web and print, and ensuring that all materials align with brand guidelines. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in feedback sessions, and refine designs based on review and project requirements.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in visual design, including Graphics and Graphic Design skills.
Ability to create and refine visual identities, including Logo Design and Branding.
Proficiency in Image Editing and related design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar).
Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Solid understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and layout.
Ability to follow creative direction, accept feedback, and iterate on designs within deadlines.
Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, student work, or personal design explorations.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Hybrid environment in Colombo.
