Graphic Design + Brand Intern

Bas Aise Hi by Shubhi is a lifestyle and stationary startup brand that is helping customers add modern, bold and chic art to their everyday life. All our products have handmade designs by the founder Shubhi, the artist behind the brand and a former journalist well-known in the marketing and advertising industry. We are looking for highly-enthusiastic, eager to learn and ambitious people to join us and help take this business to the next level.

We’re looking for a graphic design + brand intern with a zest for beautiful designs for products and marketing for Bas Aise Hi. We’re a new design-led stationery and lifestyle startup and the role would present a lot of hands-on experience in different areas of design and the opportunity to grow and apply their skills in the real-time world. This role would also involve some brand related work beyond design, for which training will be provided. This is a work from home unpaid position for a month. There is an opportunity to convert it into a longer term paid position at the brand for the right candidate at the end of the internship. 

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other editing softwares
• Knowledge of design principles
• Familiarity with printing requirements of design 
• Familiarity with aesthetic and lively designs 

Soft skills:

• Fast learner
• Attention to detail
• Keen eye for design
• Team player
• Willingness to learn

Additional optional skills:

• Basic knowledge of website design and content management system
• Eagerness to come up with ideas of their own
• Familiarity with social media and designing for it
