As a Graduate Developer at Resideo, you’ll contribute to the next generation of connected security and smart-building experiences. You’ll work with security video products and help integrate them with the broader Resideo ecosystem, including security panels, thermostats, water-leak detectors, and other connected devices.

JOB DUTIES:
Contribute to the design, development, testing, and delivery of high-quality connected products that support Resideo’s security and smart-building portfolio.
Work with security video products and explore how they interact with security panels, thermostats, water-leak detectors, and other connected devices.
Break down requirements into manageable development tasks and keep Jira updated with progress, risks, and outcomes.
Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and other team meetings.
Apply software engineering practices such as test-driven development, version control, continuous integration, and clear technical documentation.
Collaborate with firmware, cloud, product, and quality teams to help deliver secure, reliable, and commercially successful products.
Build knowledge of embedded Linux, image processing, computer vision, connected-device platforms, and developer-driven AI workflows.
Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and technically strong team by asking questions, sharing knowledge, and offering help to others.
Develop technical skills through online research, training, technical communities, forums, webinars, and guidance from experienced colleagues.
Take part in special projects and other assignments that support Resideo’s strategic goals.
Represent Resideo professionally and contribute to products that help customers protect what matters most.
YOU MUST HAVE:
1+ years of academic or professional experience programming (preferable C/C++ or OO language)
1+ years of academic or professional experience in Linux operating system environments
1+ years of academic or professional experience working in a collaborative engineering team
