What You'll Do
  • Lead the sourcing and supplier capability improvement initiatives for electrical components including control modules, LED displays, wiring harnesses, power supplies, and PCBs.
  • Drive cost reduction programs, value engineering proposals, and standard cost roll initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain key supplier relationships, ensuring strategic alignment and collaboration.
  • Coordinate and manage new product introduction processes, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Perform trade-off evaluations, feature assessments, and supply chain/commodity examinations to improve cost and performance.
  • Ensure business continuity by focusing on supply chain resiliency and maintaining world-class standards for corporate social responsibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, and Finance to achieve strategic sourcing goals.
  • Lead and mentor team members, encouraging a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Apply critical thinking and project management skills to support and lead procurement strategies.
  • Develop and manage material procurement strategies and tools to improve cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Establish and drive supplier performance expectations, ensuring continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, or supplier management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing contract manufacturers or strategic direct material suppliers.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams and major projects with compressed timelines.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing of electronic or electromechanical components.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key collaborators.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, cost control, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Familiarity with project management and supplier development.
  • An MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management, or equivalent professional experience, is a plus.
  • CPSM, APICS, or PMP certification is advantageous.
