Global Network Engineering Manager
Gogo Business Aviation is looking for a Global Network Engineering Manager to lead our team of exceptionally talented engineers. As a Network Manager at Gogo, you will be responsible for our data centers & corporate networks and play a large role in launching the world's first 5G inflight connectivity solution. We're looking for a self-starter who can demonstrate a mix of business acumen and technical expertise.

How will you make a difference?
- Manage daily activities and projects for a geographically diverse team of network engineers
- Ensure projects are on time and within budget
- Participate in 3-5 year network roadmap and budget process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data center technologies and industry trends
- Mange 24 x 7 x 365 data center availability and monitoring solutions
- Work with Senior Management and staff to accomplish business goals, develop standards, best practices, and technical processes
- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development
- Responsible for your staff and their success and for the success of the group as a whole
Qualifications
- 4-7 years working in large, geographically redundant, enterprise networks
- 4+ years of management experience, leading and developing a team
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, IT or related field
- Must be available for off-hour escalations as needed
Required Skills, Talents & Experience
- Knowledge of data center technologies
- Experience with telecommunication carriers and different WAN technologies
- Has managed a cost center and budgets
- Passionate about managing, mentoring, and developing a team
- Strong presentation skills to an executive audience
- Excellent analytical skills (data analysis)
- Experience with network policy engines (PCRF, Sandvine)
Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience
- Work experience from large telecommunication carriers
- Work experience with large cloud providers
- Experience with large scale deployments using automation
- Hands on network engineering experience (CCIE)
- Must be able to work independently and meet project deliverables
- Creative thinker, must be able to think outside the box
- Must be able multitask and lead many projects at the same time
Equal Pay Disclosure(s)
Base Pay:
128,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 15% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
