Overview

As the Sr. Geospatial Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for complex and important geospatial systems and supporting operations providing critical insights to multiple cloud environments. The duties include delivery and integration of geospatial services and data to cloud-based system as well as planning and delivering these services to the US Coast Guard (USCG). You will be the SME for our cloud-based system administration.

You will be responsible for all the geospatial aspects of this intelligence system which USCG uses to help safeguard our nation.

Responsibilities

  • Instrumenting and monitoring systems to support a product that meets the mission needs of the USCG and delivers its intelligence capabilities to the people who need it most.
  • Working with cutting edge technologies in an agile and dynamic environment to provide critical services.
  • Work with ESRI based System
  • Supports IBM i2 Analyst Notebook Professional to build queries and reports.

Tasks include:

  • Developing and building reports in Analyst Notebook
  • Building reports using ESRI
  • Assisting users in using i2 Analyst Notebook and ESRI
  • Training users to fully leverage the capabilities of these tools.

Qualifications

  • Active TS, SCI Eligible and must be willing to take a CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical discipline (or equivalent) related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience.
  • Extensive cloud data visualisation experience.
