Job Description
General Electrical Engineer
Requirements
· Provide Engineering design oversight for engineering-related tasks.
· Review/approve assigned Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Request for Deviation (RFD) in Government Windchill System.
· Review/approve Technical Data Package submissions (drawings).
· Review/approve Component First Article Test (CFAT) plans and reports.
· Review/approve assigned CDRLs
· Support production and quality teams (vehicle fabrication, assembly, finishing, test, PPAP. CFAT, etc.).
· Support STS work directives as assigned.
· Support test activities and work to bring issues to final resolution.
· Ability to travel in support of above duties (est. 25%).
· Knowledge of system engineering and vehicle design.
· Expertise in vehicle electrical systems and vehicle software system to include the development of electrical components and qualification of electrical components at the sub-system and system level.
· Expertise with vehicle design change management, technical data packages, GD&T, and ASME Y14.5-2009
· Expertise with design and production processes such as PPAP, CFAT, DFMEA, PFMEA, and DVP&R.
· Expertise With Army and USMC tactical or combat vehicles integration design development, design review and platform integration activities.
· Expertise with technical program management, technical requirements, and managing technical risk and issues.

Skills Required
- Engineering design oversight experience
- Experience reviewing and approving Engineering Change Proposals and Requests for Deviation in Windchill
- Experience reviewing technical data packages and engineering drawings
- Experience reviewing Component First Article Test plans and reports
- Experience supporting production, quality, vehicle fabrication, assembly, finishing, testing, PPAP, and CFAT activities
- Knowledge of systems engineering and vehicle design
- Expertise in vehicle electrical and software systems, including electrical component development and qualification
- Expertise in vehicle design change management, technical data packages, GD&T, and ASME Y14.5-2009
