We are a growing digital marketing agency seeking a reliable and experienced Web Developer to join our remote team.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional website development experience, with strong knowledge of WordPress, Elementor, WPBakery, PHP, hosting management, and website troubleshooting.
This role includes building new websites, maintaining existing websites, resolving technical issues, supporting WooCommerce stores, completing website migrations, and assisting with third-party integrations.
Experience with Wix, Shopify, Webflow, and additional website platforms is a plus.
- Build, update, and maintain responsive websites and landing pages.
- Create websites using Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, Divi, or similar builders.
- Customize WordPress themes, child themes, templates, and plugins.
- Complete website customizations using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Configure and troubleshoot WooCommerce stores, including products, payment gateways, shipping tools, and integrations.
- Manage website hosting, cPanel, WHM, databases, PHP settings, SSL certificates, DNS records, domains, email-delivery issues, and server configurations.
- Perform website migrations, backups, staging deployments, domain changes, and production launches.
- Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, broken themes, hosting, database, DNS, SSL, website performance, and email delivery issues.
- Connect websites with third-party platforms using plugins, APIs, webhooks, or technical documentation.
- Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, speed, security, accessibility, and basic SEO.
- Test website functionality before launch.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, content specialists, and developers.
- Follow internal workflows, documentation, QA checklists, and project deadlines.
- Support maintenance requests across multiple client websites.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional website development experience.
- Strong experience with self-hosted WordPress websites.
- Proficiency with Elementor and WPBakery.
- Working knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience customizing themes, child themes, templates, and plugins.
- Experience with WooCommerce setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing cPanel, Liquid Web, or similar hosting dashboards.
- Strong understanding of domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, databases, PHP versions, email records, and server settings.
- Experience with website migrations, backups, staging environments, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with payment, shipping, CRM, inventory, tax, or basic email marketing integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot website errors, plugin conflicts, broken layouts, performance problems, and hosting-related issues.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser testing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow designs and instructions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Ability to work independently, identify blockers, and ask relevant technical questions.
- Experience with Shopify or Wix is a plus.

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with availability required between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time
- Compensation: Based on experience, technical skills, and qualifications.
