BOI partners with large, ambitious organizations to design and build applied AI products that create measurable business impact. We help enterprise and scale-up clients move beyond experimentation by embedding AI directly into their operations, decision-making, and products. Our work spans industries, but always centers on production-ready AI, strong engineering, and real-world adoption.
About the RoleWe're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to design and build the products that put AI in front of real users. This is applied engineering work: building responsive front-ends, robust back-ends, and the data and integration layers that connect them to AI systems running in business-critical environments.
You'll take products from idea to deployment, owning the full path including architecture, implementation, performance, and the operational concerns that determine whether a system survives contact with users.
What You'll DoYou'll design, implement, and ship the products that wrap our AI capabilities into something users can actually use. Day-to-day, that means building responsive front-ends, scalable back-end services, and the database and pipeline plumbing in between. You'll work closely with our AI engineers to integrate models, agents, and retrieval systems into customer-facing applications.
You'll also own how we know our products work, including testing, observability, and the feedback loops that let us iterate with confidence rather than guesswork. You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and strategists, and you'll be in client conversations from early scoping through delivery.
What You BringYou have 3+ years of experience shipping production web applications, and a background in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or another technical or scientific field. You're strong across the stack: comfortable in Python on the back-end (FastAPI or similar), and confident with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling. You know your way around relational databases and the integration work that connects services together.
You take engineering fundamentals seriously. CI/CD, testing, version control hygiene, and code quality matter to you, because they're what let you keep moving fast without things falling over. You're comfortable deploying on a major cloud provider (Azure preferred), and you understand how to balance performance, cost, and maintainability. You've debugged enough production systems to have opinions about it.
You also use AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, and MCP-based workflows fluently, and you treat them as a core part of how you ship.
How You WorkYou treat product engineering as a craft. You care about UX details, performance, observability, and the underlying engineering that makes the interesting parts possible. You're at home in a consulting environment, where each engagement brings a new domain and a new set of constraints and every week looks different.
At BOI, you will work with strategists and designers, and most of your clients aren't technical. You're comfortable translating between business problems and technical solutions, and you can hold your own in a client room without a project manager running interference for you.
The field moves quickly, and so do we. New models, new frameworks, and new patterns show up constantly. You enjoy that pace, actively pull in what's useful, and bring it back to the team. You push back when something doesn't make sense, and you care about building products that get used long after the kickoff energy fades.
Contract & SetupWe are open to both permanent employment and long-term contractor arrangements. The final setup will depend on your location, work authorization status, and local compliance requirements.
Interested? If this sounds like a fit, apply with your CV and a short note on a product you've built that you're proud of. Bonus points for something we can actually look at!
