Job Description:

We are seeking a Principal Full-Stack Developer to support an exciting mission focused on revolutionizing tradecraft. In this role, you will work directly with mission stakeholders to define requirements and architect, develop, integrate, and deploy enterprise solutions that bring together cloud infrastructure, data engineering, visualization, software development, and artificial intelligence/ machine learning (AI/ML) capabilities. The ideal candidate for this position will be a senior technical developer with strong Python and Java expertise and broad experience across AWS, enterprise data platforms, application programming interface (API) development, and the operationalization of advanced analytics and AI. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and eleven (11) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable are a Doctoral degree (PH.D.) and seven (7) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and nine (9) years, or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and thirteen (13) years of experience.
  • Strong software development experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience with R for statistical computing, data analysis, or analytical development.
  • Experience designing and developing full-stack applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience designing, developing, or supporting enterprise data warehouses and data engineering solutions.
  • Experience developing Business Intelligence capabilities, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical applications.
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and application orchestration.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML development and MLOps practices, including the transition of models and analytical prototypes into operational environments.
  • Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Experience using Jupyter Notebooks for analytical development, prototyping, or data science workflows.
