Compensation: $25-32 per hour
Patient Mix: PPO /FFS
Schedule:  Monday - Friday 7:30 till 5:00 pm

About the Role 

United Dental Corporation is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team in the vibrant Manhattan area. 

We are looking for a professional, organized, and patient-focused individual who enjoys creating a positive patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a dental practice. 

Specific practice placement will be discussed during the interview process based on experience, schedule preferences, and business needs. 

Candidates may be considered for multiple practices within the region based on business needs, schedule availability, and overall fit. 


What You'll Do 

  • Greet and check in patients 
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls 
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments 
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits 
  • Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records 
  • Assist patients with treatment financing options 
  • Maintain patient charts and documentation 
  • Support office productivity through effective scheduling and communication 
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience 
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment 

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 
  • Basic computer proficiency 
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment 

Preferred 

  • Periodontal office experience
  • Dental front office experience 
  • Experience with dental insurance verification 
  • Experience with treatment presentation and financial arrangements 
  • Experience with dental practice management software 
  • Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments 
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 3 years dental front office experience (including collections and scheduling)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong skills with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of treatment planning, insurance coordination, and case presentation
  • Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements with patients
  • Experience coordinating with dentists, clinical staff, and insurance providers
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar
  • At least 2 years in a management or lead front office role within a dental office
  • Associate degree in business or office administration
  • Additional business or dental management training
